China (Mianyang) science and Technology City International Science and Technology Expo (hereinafter referred to as "science and Technology Expo") is approved by the Party Central Committee and the State Council, CO sponsored by the Ministry of science and technology and the people's Government of Sichuan Province, and is held in Mianyang every year with the theme of "scientific and technological innovation, deepening reform, opening up and cooperation". It is an opening-up and cooperation platform jointly built by Sichuan Province and Mianyang City. Focusing on scientific and technological innovation, the exhibition has been successfully held for six times and won the title of "national top ten brand exhibition" for three times in a row. It has become an international science and Technology Expo with wide attention, active participation and common development at home and abroad.

More than 4350 units including Fortune 500, well-known enterprises at home and abroad, national key scientific research institutes and universities have successfully held the fair for six consecutive times. They have exhibited leading scientific and technological products and technologies, and a total of 14085 projects have been exhibited. National level projects such as the national "12th Five Year plan" scientific and technological innovation achievement exhibition, National Science and technology award winning projects and new technology exhibition, and achievements exhibition of Chinese Academy of sciences have successively attended the fair At the same time, the exhibition also held activities such as publishing and trading of scientific and technological achievements and patented technology, and exchange of scientific and technological talents.

 

Opening up and cooperation have far-reaching effects. The Czech Republic, the United States, Israel and other scientific and technological innovation powers have successively served as guest of honor, and organized a series of economic and trade promotion activities between China and Czech Republic, China and the United States, and China Israel, which have achieved fruitful results. For the first six science and technology fair, there were 60 countries (regions) participating in the Fair (non repetitive Statistics), and overseas enterprises and institutions participating in the fair such as countries along the "the Belt and Road Initiative" strategy increased year by year; National Innovation Demonstration Zone, National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone, High-tech Zone, Sichuan five economic zones and other regional groups participated in the fair, realizing the "co operation, sharing and win-win" of science and Technology Fair It has promoted the level of foreign exchange and cooperation between Sichuan and Mianyang, and provided a powerful engine for economic transformation and upgrading.
