Exhibition Background

Sichuan is located in western China and is an important junction of the southwest, northwest, and central regions. It is an important intersection and transportation corridor that connects southern and central China, connects southwest and northwest, and connects Central Asia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. The jurisdiction covers an area of 486000 square kilometers, with 21 cities (prefectures) and 183 counties (cities, districts). According to statistics from the Ministry of Education, the number of people studying abroad in 2024 has increased by 20% compared to 2023. It is expected that the number of people studying abroad this year will approach 800000. According to incomplete statistics, the number of people studying abroad in Sichuan in 2024 will be nearly 100000, accounting for about 10% of the total number of people studying abroad each year, second only to Beijing and Shanghai. It is expected to continue to rise in the coming years, and the number of children from working-class families studying abroad is increasing. The market for young students studying abroad has gradually emerged.

The 2025 China (Chongqing and Chengdu) International Study Abroad Education Exhibition will attract hundreds of universities from more than 20 countries and regions around the world to participate.
