Letter Regarding Invitation to Participate in the 2025 Silk Road Mining Cooperation Forum and the China Xinjiang International Mining and Equipment Expo

The Third Plenum of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China proposed that high-quality development is the primary task for comprehensively building a socialist modernized country. We must lead the reform with the new development concept, base ourselves on the new development stage, shape new driving forces and advantages for development, and improve the system for enhancing the resilience and safety level of the industrial and supply chains. At the same time, we will accelerate the promotion of new industrialization, cultivate and strengthen advanced manufacturing clusters, and promote the high-end, intelligent, and green development of the manufacturing industry.

The Silk Road Mining Cooperation Forum and Expo is one of the world's three major mining exhibitions and an innovative highland for the application of national mining technology and equipment. The Silk Road Mining Cooperation Forum, the 15th China Xinjiang International Mining and Equipment Expo, and the 20th China Xinjiang International Coal Industry Expo, approved by the Ministry of Commerce, guided by the Science and Technology Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, specially co organized by the National 305 Project Office of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Government, hosted by the Xinjiang Mining Federation and Zhenwei International Exhibition Group, and organized by Xinjiang Zhenwei International Exhibition Co., Ltd., are scheduled to be held at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center from July 18-20, 2025.

The conference will anchor the "Five Strategic Positions" assigned to Xinjiang by the state, actively serve the construction of the "Ten Major Industrial Clusters" in the autonomous region, continuously enhance the support and contribution of Xinjiang's mining and energy economy to ensuring national energy security, promote the transformation of Xinjiang's resource advantages represented by energy and mineral resources into economic advantages, and strengthen resource and production capacity cooperation with Central Asian countries.

The conference, with the theme of "New Manufacturing, New Services, and New Business Forms", will showcase the entire chain and process of mining development. At the same time, activities such as the "China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan Railway and Mining Development Strategy Seminar", the launch ceremony of the "National Top Ten Mining Provinces (Regions) New Quality Productivity Cooperation Alliance", the "Partner Alliance" cooperation plan, the "First Launch Ceremony of Global Innovation in Frontier Technology and Equipment", and the "Global Intelligent Mining Equipment Innovation Competition" will be held.

The exhibition features more than 10 themed and characteristic sections, including the "New Quality Productivity Innovation Hall, Digital Technology Integration Hall, and Outdoor Major Equipment Exhibition Area". Enterprises and professional visitors from multiple countries and regions such as Germany, the United States, Australia, France, Sweden, Brazil, Argentina, and South Africa participate in the exhibition, focusing on the promotion and application of advanced scientific research achievements and technologies in the field of mining equipment, including intelligent exploration equipment technology, mining equipment technology, intelligent construction equipment, unmanned driving technology, intelligent sorting and smelting technology, as well as policy promotion in resource rich areas. The exhibition area exceeds 110000 square meters, attracting more than 100000 professional visitors and procurement groups.

The forum will invite relevant departments of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Natural Resources, autonomous regions, mining management departments of Central Asian countries, academicians, experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives to attend, and hold multiple industry docking and exchange activities to promote the deep integration of government, industry, academia, research, and application.
