PREFACE

The first "China Fishing Equipment Fair" was successfully held in Yantai in September 2024, and the "2025 Second Yantai Deep Sea Aquaculture and Modern Fishery Equipment Expo" (referred to as the "Fishing Equipment Fair") will continue to be held at the Yantai Bajiaowan International Convention and Exhibition Center from September 18-20, 2025. As a grand event in the modern fishery equipment industry, the "China Fishery Equipment Fair" has the characteristics of high-end (inviting leaders of competent departments, domestic and international industry organizations) and comprehensive (covering various fishing equipment related boats, equipment, machinery, accessories, materials, design, management, service related enterprises, institutions and research institutes). It comprehensively displays the latest achievements of China's deep-sea aquaculture and modern fishery equipment development in recent years. （1） Central policy: The No. 1 central document in 2024 clearly proposed "to ensure food security, support deep and offshore aquaculture, establish a big food concept, and expand food sources through multiple channels."
