Against the backdrop of global climate goals and China's carbon neutrality goals, China's energy consumption structure and carbon dioxide emissions will undergo significant changes. Hydrogen, as a new type of energy with a wide range of sources, clean usage processes, and diverse application fields, is becoming increasingly mature in production and utilization technology. It will play an increasingly important role in the future development of green, low-carbon, and clean energy. In recent years, relevant national departments have continuously issued documents such as the "Medium - and Long Term Plan for the Development of Hydrogen Energy Industry (2021-2035)" and the "14th Five Year Plan" for the Development of New Energy Storage, clarifying the three "strategic positioning" of hydrogen energy, proposing to promote the breakthrough and transformation of green and low-carbon technologies, and advancing China's process of achieving the "dual carbon" goal. China has entered the accelerated development stage of the hydrogen energy industry and has entered an important window of development for the hydrogen energy industry.

At present, the hydrogen energy industry is mainly applied in fields such as fuel cell vehicles and energy storage. As a well-known automobile manufacturing base and an important development area for new energy vehicles in China, Hubei Province has issued twelve relevant policy support measures, which have a good foundation and superior conditions to promote the development of the hydrogen energy industry. To further promote the rapid development of the hydrogen energy industry, the 2024 Wuhan International Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Industry Expo will be grandly held from August 14 to 16, 2024 at the Wuhan International Expo Center. The exhibition will showcase cutting-edge technologies and application solutions in the entire industry chain of hydrogen preparation, storage, transportation, fuel cells, and terminal applications under the theme of "Green Hydrogen Energy, Empowering the Future".
