The 2018 China Sea Expo will be held in Zhanjiang from November 22 to 25, jointly sponsored by the Ministry of natural resources and the people's Government of Guangdong Province, and hosted by China Merchants Group, China Shipbuilding Heavy Industry, publicity and education center of the Ministry of natural resources, the Provincial Department of ocean affairs, the Provincial Department of Commerce, the provincial tourism administration and our city. This year's China Sea Expo will have national pavilions, industrial pavilions, maritime exhibition areas, coastal tourism areas and commodity exhibition and sales areas. Exhibitions will be organized in accordance with the standards of "specialization, internationalization, marketization and high-end".

The National Pavilion, organized by the publicity and education center of the Ministry of natural resources, will fully display the major achievements of building China into a marine power and promoting the high-quality development of the marine economy, including the achievements of marine science and technology, marine environmental protection, marine scientific research, marine economic cooperation, marine economic innovation and development demonstration city, etc. The host province will be set up to fully display the achievements of marine economic development of the host province.

The industrial museum will introduce in-depth cooperation of the fair, give full play to the professional experience and resource advantages of the fair, organize exhibitions in accordance with the objectives of "Exhibition + trade" and focusing on trade, and meticulously build the "maritime fair" and "maritime high fair". The municipal leaders led the municipal marine, science and technology, food and Drug Administration and other relevant departments to Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian, Qingdao, Yantai, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen and other cities to visit and invite marine departments, marine related scientific research institutions and large enterprises to participate in the fair, and received positive response. At present, more than 20 large-scale central enterprises and more than 300 small and medium-sized enterprises, including China Merchants Group, China Shipbuilding Heavy Industry, China shipbuilding, CNOOC, Guodian investment, China Guanghe, China Agricultural Development and China Communications Group, have actively responded to the participation. At the same time, overseas exhibitions and investment promotion were carried out in Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, etc., more developed countries of marine industry were invited to participate in the exhibition, and government agencies, industry associations, marine enterprises, scientific research institutions, Chinese Chambers of Commerce and other countries involved in the exhibition were extensively invited to participate in the exhibition. In combination with visits to Russia, Belarus, Finland, Germany, the United States, Mexico, Japan, South Korea and other countries, the municipal leaders visited foreign consulates in Guangzhou, the Municipal Bureau of Foreign Affairs held exhibition promotion conferences in Guangzhou and exhibitions promotion in Russia, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce in Cambodia and Sri Lanka, and invited countries along the 21st century Maritime Silk Road, ASEAN, etc EU, Latin America, South Pacific and other regional countries participated in the conference. The maritime exhibition area is a major feature and bright spot of the Expo and the basis for the preparation of the exhibition. In this year's maritime exhibition area, China Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. is invited to organize major military trade companies of China to participate in the exhibition of advanced marine related military products and domestic military civilian integrated development equipment at home and abroad, organize ships, official ships, special ships, yachts, sailboats and other ships, organize marine related military creative products, and provide various interaction and experience space. At present, there are 137 exhibitors.

The Binhai tourism exhibition area is organized by the provincial and municipal tourism bureaus to build an exchange and cooperation platform of "Binhai tourism +". At that time, there will be international friendly cities from Britain, Australia, Russia and other countries along the maritime Silk Road, national coastal open cities, Beibu Gulf cities, Qiongbei regional tourism cities, as well as famous coastal tourism brands such as Zhuhai Chimelong, China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines. At the same time, a series of activities such as tourism project docking meeting, tourism product promotion meeting and tourism cooperation signing were held. At present, more than 60 exhibitors have been implemented, and it is estimated that more than 300 exhibitors will participate.

In combination with "economic and trade cooperation and investment promotion", the commodity exhibition and sales area selects high-quality enterprises from the sea related associations to enter, displays the features and development achievements of the associations, and creates a multi-functional platform with publicity, promotion, exchange and trade, investment promotion, exhibition and display. More than 120 exhibitors have been implemented, and it is expected that the final number of exhibitors will exceed 400.

In the form of "main forum + Forum division", the Ministry of natural resources will take the lead in organizing the high-end forum of China's marine economy, hold various professional forums with well-known universities, large state-owned enterprises, business associations and other planning organizations, and plan to hold 12 professional forums such as civil military integration, port logistics, coastal tourism, modern marine fishery, and invite well-known experts at home and abroad to participate, Let the Expo form better comprehensive benefits.

This year, the Expo will organize a road show and investment promotion meeting for investment projects involving the sea, and invite major investment projects, industrial parks, Shenzhen Stock Exchange and investment institutions from all over the country to participate. At the same time, a series of economic and trade activities will be held, including new product and new technology conferences, trade fairs for exhibitors and purchasers, and professional promotion meetings. It is estimated that there will be more than 100 economic and trade activities.

This year, our city further strengthened cooperation with mainstream media at home and abroad, especially Xinhua news agency, promoted the Expo by opening columns, special topics and other ways, and has strengthened the construction of publicity atmosphere in the Expo City through bus body advertising, taxi led, outdoor T-board, fence advertising and light flag advertising, and constantly expanded the influence of the Expo.

This year, our city will use the new exhibition hall to hold the Expo. At present, we are paying close attention to the closing project to ensure that it will be used as scheduled this year.
