As a theme of Thailand Machinery Manufacturing Expo (me for short), it is held once a year at BITEC International Exhibition Center in Bangkok, Thailand, and has been successfully held for 25 times so far. In 2016, 55580 merchants from Southeast Asian countries came to the machinery manufacturing exhibition to visit and negotiate, 1800 exhibitors from 46 countries and regions attended the exhibition, with a total exhibition area of about 40000 square meters in six pavilions. Me includes six themes: intermold mold, automotive automobile production and manufacturing, assembly assembly technology, ICs Subcontracting Exhibition, napcon electronic exhibition, surface & coating surface Li Zhan and die exhibition are the biggest themes among them, and occupy the core position of the exhibition center. They are highly professional and representative in technical level, reflecting the development level of machinery and equipment in the field of machinery manufacturing and automobile manufacturing in Southeast Asia and even Asia.
In recent years, Thailand has actively participated in regional economic cooperation, joined the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Organization and the ASEAN Free Trade Area, actively participated in the water and land transportation cooperation in the upper Mekong River between China, Thailand, Laos and Myanmar, and promoted the "economic growth triangle" process in the adjacent areas of Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. With the development of manufacturing industry and service industry, especially the rise of tourism industry, Thailand's economic structure has undergone significant changes, from an agricultural country mainly exporting agricultural products to an emerging industrial country. In the trade between China and Thailand, machinery and equipment occupy the main position of Thailand's imports from China.  
On January 1, 2010, the China ASEAN free trade area was completed. In 2015, more than 90% of China ASEAN product trade will officially implement zero tariff. This is the free trade zone with the largest number of consumers and the largest coverage area in the world. It is also known as the "third largest economy in the world in the future" after the EU and North America free trade zone. The establishment of China ASEAN Free Trade Area will create infinite business opportunities and broad prospects for China and ASEAN business. Therefore, entering the Thai market can radiate more than 10 neighboring countries.
