Since its establishment in 1999, after 19 years of development and innovation, China Industry Fair has developed into the most influential international industrial brand exhibition in China's equipment manufacturing industry through professional, market-oriented, international and brand operation, which has been certified by the International Exhibition Industry Association (UFI). It is an important window and a platform for economic and trade exchanges and cooperation in China's industrial field facing the world. Since 2015, China Industry Fair has officially moved to Shanghai, the National Convention and Exhibition Center. The National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai), located in the core area of Shanghai Hongqiao CBD and adjacent to Hongqiao traffic hub, is the largest exhibition complex in the world.
 
The 20th China International Industrial Exposition will be held in the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) from September 19 to 23, 2018, with 9 major professional exhibitions, covering an area of more than 280000 square meters, attended by more than 2500 exhibitors and expected to be visited by more than 160000 Chinese and foreign professional visitors.
