With the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the construction of xiong'an new green ecological city and Zhangjiakou renewable energy demonstration area, Hebei Province has great potential for solar energy development and utilization. According to the 13th five year plan for the development of renewable energy in Hebei Province, by 2020, 11 million kilowatts of centralized photovoltaic power stations, 4 million kilowatts of distributed photovoltaic power stations and 500000 kilowatts of solar thermal power generation will be built, ranking first in China. The installed capacity of all kinds of solar power generation will be increased by 12 million kilowatts, and the new investment will be about 100 billion yuan.
