China South Asia Expo is approved by the State Council of China, CO sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the people's Government of Yunnan Province, and jointly hosted by the commercial departments of South Asian countries. After several years of cultivation and development, the scale of the Expo has been expanding, which has played an important role in promoting economic and trade exchanges between China and South Asian countries. At the signing ceremony of economic and trade cooperation projects of the 4th China South Asia Expo and the 24th China Kunming Import and Export Fair, a number of enterprises from home and abroad signed contracts on a number of projects in Yunnan. A total of 284 projects with a total amount of 42.2474 billion yuan have been signed. Among the contracted projects, there are 258 domestic funded projects with a contracted amount of 409.019 billion yuan, 23 foreign funded projects with a total investment of 1.63 billion US dollars, and 3 Foreign-funded Projects with an agreed investment of 440 million US dollars. The contracted projects of the fourth South China International Fair not only have a larger increase in the total amount of contracted projects than that of the previous one, but also have a greater improvement in the quality of contracted projects. A number of projects related to people's livelihood, reflecting Yunnan's characteristics, conforming to Yunnan's industrial development direction and combining with Yunnan's new development orientation have become the focus of this contract.
The Fifth China South Asia Expo will be held in the same period as the 25th Kunming Import and Export Fair from June 12 to 17, 2018. The exhibition is aimed at "promoting the comprehensive cooperation and development of China, South Asia and Southeast Asia", and takes the "one belt and one road" construction as the main line. With the theme of "sincerity, tolerance, cooperation and win-win" as the theme, with "grand, warm, thrifty and wonderful" as the general requirements, we strive to build a high level of business integration, trade in services, investment cooperation, tourism cooperation and cultural exchanges. The comprehensive exhibition has become an important bridge for mutually beneficial cooperation between China and South Asian countries and an important platform for China and South Asian countries to expand economic and trade exchanges with other countries and regions. It is expected that more than 80 countries and regions will participate in the exhibition. At the same time, it will also hold commodity exhibition activities, economic and trade investment promotion activities, China South Asia Business Forum, China Southeast Asia Business Forum, China South Asia Southeast Asia think tank forum, China US cooperation forum, Lancang Mekong cooperation Kunming activity week and other series of activities, and invite government agencies and business associations to introduce investment policies, environment and investment projects of various countries All countries provide platforms for investment promotion and cooperation with Chinese enterprises to promote more consensus and gather more development forces.

On the first floor of the exhibition hall, there will be six exhibition halls, including electromechanical hall, biomedical and health hall, and wood art hall.
