China (Wuhu) science popularization Products Fair (hereinafter referred to as "science and Technology Fair") is a public welfare national exhibition sponsored by China Association for science and technology and Anhui Provincial People's government, and undertaken by Anhui Association for science and technology and Wuhu Municipal People's government.
Since the first session in 2004, it has been successfully held for seven times. Deng Nan, Chen Xi, Li Jinbin and other leaders, 28 academicians such as Wei Yu and Qi Faren, 8 astronauts such as Yang Liwei and tens of thousands of scientific and technological personnel participated in the science and Technology Expo. There were more than 2250 domestic and foreign manufacturers participating in the Expo, with a total audience of more than 1.5 million people. More than 40 institutions of higher learning, such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, China University of science and technology, more than 20 domestic first-class scientific research institutes, such as Institute of automation, Institute of software of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and many well-known science and technology museums and production units of popular science products participated in the Expo.
The science and Technology Fair has become an important measure for the implementation of the State Council's action plan for the scientific quality of the whole people. It has played a positive role in accelerating the pace of scientific and technological innovation and the integration of science and technology popularization, promoting the in-depth development of science popularization in China, and improving the scientific quality of the public.
The eighth science and Technology Fair is scheduled to be held in Wuhu International Convention and Exhibition Center from April 20 to 22, 2018. During the exhibition, there will also be a national science popularization industry development forum, academicians' report meeting, national major science popularization project construction information release and other colorful activities. Main exhibition: main achievements of innovation driven projects in demonstration cities; international and domestic aerospace and aviation achievement exhibits, major equipment, new generation information technology, intelligent terminal, new materials, new energy and energy conservation and environmental protection products, etc. (supported by the academic department of China Association for science and technology and relevant national academic societies, in the charge of Anhui Association for science and technology and Wuhu Municipal Government).
3. Robot application and achievement exhibition (supported by the Department of Chinese Association for science and technology and relevant national societies, in the charge of Wuhu Municipal Government).
4. Achievement exhibition of Anhui strategic emerging industry cluster development base (in the charge of Anhui development and Reform Commission and Wuhu Municipal Government).
5. Anhui innovation and entrepreneurship team achievement exhibition (in the charge of Anhui Science and technology department and Wuhu Municipal Government).
