The 15th cross strait Book Fair is scheduled to be held in Xiamen from September 20 to September 22, 2019. This is another cultural event approved by the State Press and publication administration after the 14th cross strait book fair was successfully held in Xiamen and Taiwan from 2005 to 2018, and the book publishing and distribution across the Taiwan Strait and the related industries deepened exchanges and cooperation.

Schedule

1. From September 18 to 19, set up the exhibition;

The total area is 34500 square meters. Among them, the main venue, Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center, is 13500 square meters (1000 square meters with mainland simplified book sample purchasing area); the exterior map, Xiamen book city, 15000 square meters; the branch venue of Xiamen Xinhua Bookstore, 2800 square meters; the branch venue of Xiamen Gulangyu, 800 square meters; the branch venue of Quanzhou, 700 square meters; and the branch venue of Putian, 800 square meters. In particular, the online branch venue of the chart fair is set up, online special areas are set up on the Internet, and all kinds of books of the chart fair are launched simultaneously.

2. Exhibition area planning

Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center has 600 booths, including Hebei Province exhibition area, mainland book exhibition area, Taiwan book exhibition area, cross strait copyright trade and related activities area, special book exhibition area for the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China, etc. It is planned to invite more than 350 publishing units and Book Companies in the mainland, publishing related industrial units and more than 200 publishing enterprises in Taiwan to participate in the exhibition.

For the first time, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan publishing institutions were invited to participate in the grand event. Hebei Province, as the guest of honor Province, participated in the exhibition for the first time. The main exhibition hall was moved to Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center to expand its scale. Meanwhile, Xiamen book fair and other activities were held to attract industry and readers to participate.

4. We will exhibit and order sample books, and build the most authoritative and rich book copyright trading platform on both sides of the Straits.

Specially set up cross-strait copyright trade zone, release the latest information of both sides of the supply and demand of cross-strait copyright, and fine match copyright trade, so as to fully reflect the value of copyright.
