The biennial Taiwan International Yacht Show is scheduled to debut for the fourth time at the Kaohsiung exhibition hall from March 12 to 15, 2020. It is expected to attract more than 25000 professional buyers and people to visit. The show will be open for registration on February 1 and plans to handle a number of domestic and foreign promotional activities before the show.

According to the data provided by the Taiwan Yacht Association, in 2018, Taiwan sold 86 medium-sized and above yachts, most of which were large-scale yachts, with an export value of about $162 million, an increase of 8% compared with 2017. The average unit price of each yacht reached $1.88 million, a significant increase of 20% compared with 2017. The number of yachts exported to the US market accounted for 74%. Exports to Europe and Australia account for 18%. In addition, according to the ranking statistics of international giant yacht orders in 2018, China ranks fourth in the world and first in Asia. The yacht manufacturing strength has attracted international attention. China's yacht supply chain is complete and solid. The export amount of marine hardware and propeller equipment has reached 65 million US dollars, and the quality is widely recognized by the international community, which is the strong backing of the domestic yacht industry.

The International Yacht Show in Taiwan is sponsored by the International Trade Bureau of the Ministry of economy and the Kaohsiung Municipal government. The foreign trade association and the Taiwan Yacht Association support it. In order to continue to promote the international popularity of Taiwan's yacht industry and expand the domestic yacht market, the exhibition is expected to collect more than 1000 indoor booths and water berths to display top yachts, power boats and sailboats, surrounding spare parts, maritime services, diving and fishing equipment and outdoor leisure products. During the exhibition, there will also be industry forum, outdoor recreational discussion and yacht test ride And other activities.

The exhibition hall is located in Kaohsiung, which has pleasant weather and natural harbor. With the yacht settlement in South Taiwan, the buyer can visit the factory nearby after visiting the yacht exhibition in Taiwan. With the support of the industry, the exhibition has become the best yacht procurement platform in Asia. According to the 2018 yacht show data, cfta attracted 726 foreign buyers from 31 countries, including China, the United States, Japan, South Korea and Singapore, as well as more than 20000 people to visit the show. 13 yachts were sold on site, with fruitful results.

2020 yacht show will be open to exhibitors from February 1, 2019. In order to meet the leisure style of boat fishing, the exhibition of entry-level small yachts and fishing yachts will be strengthened to further promote the marine lifestyle.
