Dalian import and Export Fair was founded in 1987. It is the first regional import and Export Fair approved by the former Ministry of foreign trade and economic cooperation of the people's Republic of China. It has been successfully held for 33 times so far. It has become an annual comprehensive international trade event with international influence in Northeast China and Bohai economic zone. The 2019 (33rd) Dalian import and Export Fair attracted 500 enterprises from 40 countries and regions, including France, Poland, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Thailand, Malaysia, Nepal, Iran, Ghana and Kenya, with an exhibition area of 15000 square meters. The four-day exhibition attracted 95000 visitors, an increase of 21.8% over last year. The accumulated sales volume on site reached 390 million yuan, over 960 kinds of intention contracts were signed, and the amount of intention cooperation was nearly 1 billion yuan.
