Industry background

The central government has set the tone of "promoting the real estate market to stop falling and stabilize" and "promoting the construction of a new model for real estate development".

According to data from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development, as of the end of 2023, China has obtained over 27000 green building certification projects, an increase of about 8% compared to 2021 in the early stage of the 14th Five Year Plan period, and the construction of green building projects is accelerating. Looking at different industries, green building projects in residential, public construction, industrial and other fields have seen an increase in 2023. In March of this year, two national departments issued another document to guide the green transformation of the construction industry, repeatedly mentioning public buildings. In the future, the public green building industry is expected to further open up incremental space. With the gradual implementation of the "dual carbon" goal, the construction industry will inevitably focus on promoting green transformation throughout the entire life cycle of building design, construction, and operation. In the future, green building materials and related energy-saving equipment may be widely applied.

About the exhibition

The 2025 Green Building Expo adheres to the concept of "low-carbon, healthy, intelligent, and safe", focusing on industrialization, digitization, and greening. It promotes the sustainable development of the entire green building industry chain from building materials, prefabricated construction, operation and maintenance throughout the entire life cycle, and practices the theme of "green low-carbon, empowering high-quality buildings".

After nearly 20 years of industry accumulation, the Green Building Expo has long focused on providing comprehensive solutions for green buildings, from new construction to existing building renovation, from building design to green construction, and then to energy-saving operation, from single innovative technology to system integration solutions. It is committed to opening up a closed loop of the industry chain, promoting the concept of architecture+curation, cross-border integration, diversified development, and building+industry, elderly care, cultural tourism, new rural areas, commercial, residential and other application scenarios, empowering the high-quality development of the industry. This exhibition focuses on three major sectors: building energy conservation, villa systems, and industrial buildings. The planned exhibition area is 25000 square meters, with 350 companies participating. It is expected that the number of professional visitors will exceed 30000, attracting government departments, industry associations, research institutes, developers, design institutes, construction units, decoration and renovation companies, trade dealers, investment and financing institutions, public institutions, energy-saving service providers, private owners and other professional visitors from various provinces and cities in China. The 2024 Green Building Expo, with the theme of "Green and Low Carbon, Empowering High Quality Residential Buildings", focuses on industrialization, digitization, and greening. It promotes the sustainable development of the entire green building industry chain from building materials, prefabricated construction, to operation and maintenance throughout the life cycle, and helps to build high-quality residential buildings. Focusing on the two major areas of building energy conservation and villa systems, 312 domestic and foreign brand enterprises participated in the exhibition, with a display scale of 25000 square meters, attracting professional visitors from government departments, industry associations, research institutes, real estate developers, design institutes, construction units, decoration and renovation companies, trade dealers, investment and financing institutions, private owners and others in the housing and construction system at home and abroad. The number of visitors reached 21032, jointly building a green building materials industry full industry chain docking platform. During the same period, there were more than ten exciting forums and events that empowered the industry and discussed development together.
