Exhibition Overview

Shaanxi has risen to become the top military and industrial province in China. Shaanxi Province is a major aviation industry province, accounting for a quarter of the country's aviation professionals and high-precision equipment. It is also an important base for the design, research and development, flight testing, and production of large and medium-sized aircraft in China, with a number of exclusive aviation industry resources. Currently, Shaanxi Province has formed six major military civilian integrated industrial bases, including Xi'an Yanliang National Aviation High tech Industrial Base, Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base, Xi'an Weapon Industry Science and Technology Industrial Base, Xi'an Ship Science and Technology Industrial Park, Hanzhong Aviation Industrial Park, and Weinan Pucheng General Aviation Industrial Park. The 33rd Western Manufacturing Expo - Aerospace and Defense Dual Use Equipment Reverse Procurement Conference will comprehensively establish a platform for communication, cooperation, and procurement and ordering between supply and demand sides through activities such as brand product exhibitions, project docking, trade negotiations, and themed forums.

Previous Review

The Western China International Equipment Manufacturing Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Western Manufacturing Expo) is an international equipment manufacturing expo approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China. It is jointly hosted by the China Machinery Industry Federation, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Shaanxi Provincial Leading Group for the Revitalization of Equipment Manufacturing Industry, the Chengdu Municipal People's Government, and the Xi'an Municipal People's Government. It is held twice a year in Xi'an in March and in Chengdu in July. It is an industry conference that integrates product display, trade ordering, academic discussions, investment negotiations, and technical cooperation. Since 2003, the Western Manufacturing Expo has been successfully held for 32 consecutive sessions, including 22 in Xi'an, 9 in Chengdu, 1 in Deyang, and 1 in Mianyang. The 32nd Western Manufacturing Expo was successfully held at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center in March 2024, with over 2300 exhibitors from more than ten countries and regions including the United States, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, and China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan). There are over 4000 indoor booths with a total exhibition area of 90000 square meters, attracting 120000 visitors from more than 20 industries at home and abroad. The on-site transaction volume is nearly 7 billion yuan. For the past 14 years, we have been adhering to the principles of specialization, internationalization, and branding in the minds of audiences, customers, and buyers in the central and western provinces, as well as southwestern provinces. We insist on showcasing high-end machine tools and metal processing equipment from China and around the world, and are committed to providing a platform for machine tool enterprises to meet customers and exchange technology.
