In recent years, Uzbekistan has been actively developing the solar energy industry by utilizing its abundant sunshine resources (with an annual sunshine duration of approximately 2410-3090 hours), in order to diversify its energy structure, reduce dependence on traditional energy sources, and protect the ecological environment. Public information shows that Uzbekistan plans to increase the proportion of renewable energy generation to 25% by 2026. As an important producer of natural gas, coal, copper, oil, silver, and uranium, Uzbekistan is rich in natural resources and has a relatively high level of economic development. Driven by the continuous market and policies, it is rapidly rising as an emerging photovoltaic market full of opportunities.

The Uzbekistan government has formulated the 2020-2030 Energy and Electricity Strategic Plan, which specifies the goals and measures for transitioning to green energy. According to the plan, by 2030, the proportion of renewable energy generation in Uzbekistan will increase from the current 10% to over 25%, with solar power installation reaching 7 million kilowatts and wind power installation reaching 5 million kilowatts; By 2050, carbon neutrality will be achieved, and renewable energy will dominate.
