On April 21, the Chinese Academy of stage art announced that the fourth China stage art exhibition will be officially held in China International Exhibition Center (old museum) from July 23 to 26, 2020. As the largest art performance design event in China, this is the only national exhibition with the theme of contemporary theater design. This session will take "the future has come" as the theme to review and summarize the creative achievements in the field of stage art in China in recent years.

It is reported that stage art exhibitions have been held three times nationwide, respectively in 1982, 2003 and 2015. All previous exhibitions have had a wide and far-reaching impact on domestic stage art and drama culture. The organizer of this year's Beijing bainajiali Theater Management Co., Ltd. said that the scale of the fourth exhibition will far exceed that of the previous one, with an area of more than 44000 square meters.

In addition to the invitation of stage art societies of all provinces, regions and cities, relevant colleges and universities, art institutions, performance equipment enterprises, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan peers, this session will also focus on inviting internationally renowned designers to participate in the exhibition, so as to improve the international level of Chinese stage art. In addition, relevant exhibition awards will be set up to organize an international evaluation team to evaluate the exhibition works, praise and commend excellent works, outstanding artists and high-quality enterprises, and promote the overall development of stage art. During the exhibition, a series of high-level academic forums will be held to invite famous designers at home and abroad to discuss the future of stage art from multiple levels and perspectives, bringing audiences a feast of knowledge.

Cao Lin, President of China Stage Art Association, introduced that the fourth exhibition will fully display and exchange the wisdom and practical achievements of stage art designers, which is the most valuable industry event in China's dance industry.
