The 2024 government work report first proposed the development of new energy storage. Shaanxi Province has successively issued the "Implementation Plan for the Development of New Energy Storage in Shaanxi Province (2024-2025)" and the "Implementation Plan for the Participation of New Energy Storage in Electricity Market Transactions in Shaanxi Province", accelerating the formation of an integrated industrial system of "new energy+energy storage" and "source grid load storage".

In order to further promote the high-quality development of the new energy storage industry, build a cooperation platform for energy storage technology, industry chain, and supply chain, and support the dual carbon strategy, the Xi'an International New Energy Storage Technology Exhibition will be held in Xi'an from April 18-20, 2025, in conjunction with the 9th Shaanxi International Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Expo.
