According to statistics from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the trade volume between China and the five Central Asian countries reached 70.2 billion US dollars in 2022, an increase of 52% compared to 46 billion US dollars in 2013. In 2022, the bilateral trade volume of goods between China and the five Central Asian countries increased by about 40% compared to the previous year, reaching a new historical high.
