1、 Exhibition Background

Yunnan is a major channel and bridgehead for China to open up to South Asia and Southeast Asia and the region around the Indian Ocean, and an important intersection of the development strategies of the two countries, namely, the construction of the "the Belt and Road" and the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

The ten years since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China have been the fastest, highest quality, and most effective period in the century long history of energy development in Yunnan, achieving many milestone achievements. Make every effort to build Yunnan's first pillar industry. In this decade, the added value of the energy industry in the province has increased by about 9% annually, and fixed assets investment has exceeded 800 billion yuan accumulatively. The leapfrog development of the energy industry has promoted profound changes in the economic structure and industrial pattern of the province, created a new situation of "multi wheel drive" of the province's economy, and supported the historic breakthrough of the province's comprehensive economic strength. The construction of clean energy bases has shown remarkable results. In the past decade, it has been the decade with the highest number of hydropower stations put into operation on the main stream of Yunnan. Twelve "major national heavy machinery" such as Wudongde, Baihetan, Xiluodu, Nuozhadu, Huangdeng, Guanyinyan, and Ludila have successively put into operation for power generation, achieving significant breakthroughs in multiple technologies and indicators, and creating the "world's first". Especially Baihetan hydropower station, which has the largest single unit capacity and the highest technical difficulty in the world today. The installed capacity of hydropower in the province has increased from 34.99 million kilowatts to 78.2 million kilowatts, ranking second in the country in terms of installed capacity. Yunnan has 7 of the top 10 hydropower stations in the country. The two major hydropower bases of Jinsha River and Lancang River have been basically completed, effectively improving the power supply structure and significantly enhancing the power supply capacity. The development and construction of new energy have been comprehensively accelerated, and the installed capacity of wind and photovoltaic power generation has increased from 1.53 million kilowatts to 12.78 million kilowatts, an increase of 7.35 times. In the next three years, an additional 50 million kilowatts will be added. As of the end of 2021, the total installed capacity of electricity in the province reached 106 million kilowatts, of which the installed capacity of clean energy exceeded 90 million kilowatts, 2.5 times that of 2012. The power supply capacity and quality continue to improve, and the advantage of green energy continues to expand.

Resolutely obey the strategy of serving the country's West East power transmission. The cumulative power transmission from West to East has exceeded 1.2 trillion kilowatt hours, accounting for half of the province's total clean power generation. It has reduced the consumption of standard coal in the eastern region by nearly 400 million tons and reduced carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 1 billion tons, effectively promoting the construction of clean energy bases in our province, supporting the economic and social development and energy conservation and emission reduction of eastern provinces and regions, and ensuring national energy security. To promote the development of Yunnan's new energy power industry, the "South Asia Southeast Asia International Power Industry Exhibition" will be held. We will provide an international platform for enterprises that bring advanced intelligent power equipment, new materials, and new technologies from around the world to negotiate, trade, learn, and showcase new products and technologies.

6、 Exhibition and conference procedures

1. Exhibitors are requested to fill out the "Registration Form for Participation/Exhibition" in detail and affix the official seal, and send or fax it to the organizing committee. And transfer the booth fee to the designated account of the organizing committee within 7 days. Booth allocation will be arranged in the order of payment, and will be held until the quota is reached.

2. After remitting the fees, exhibitors must fax or mail the bank remittance form to the organizing committee for verification.

3. All exhibitors must be manufacturers with legal operating rights within China. No unit or individual is allowed to bring counterfeit or inferior products to the exhibition, otherwise the organizing committee has the right to cancel their participation qualification.

4. After confirming the registration, the organizing committee will send the "Exhibitor Handbook" to the participating units fifteen days before the meeting.
