Exhibition Introduction

The 2025 China Guangxi International Construction Machinery and Mining Equipment Exhibition is a grand exhibition activity under the "Guangxi Industry Expo" focusing on the field of construction machinery and mining equipment. It aims to promote cooperation and exchange between Guangxi and ASEAN under the background of the the Belt and Road Initiative.

Guangxi is the only province in China that is connected to ASEAN by land and sea, and is the forefront and window for the country to open up and cooperate with ASEAN. As a "bridgehead" for China to connect with ASEAN, Guangxi will comprehensively strengthen economic cooperation with all provinces, regions, municipalities, and ASEAN countries, undertake domestic and ASEAN industrial transfer in both directions, and promote industrial cooperation and mutual investment between China and ASEAN in both directions.

Under the opportunity of industrial transfer in the eastern region, the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone has become the most dynamic and promising area for development in China and Southeast Asia. Accelerating the development of the transportation industry is the primary task in promoting regional cooperation. The Beibu Gulf Economic Zone in Guangxi will continue to construct transportation infrastructure projects such as highways, railways, and ports, building a north-south and east-west transportation network.

With the establishment of the free trade zone, the construction machinery and mining equipment industries are facing a once-in-a-lifetime development opportunity. Due to factors such as history, environment, and technology, the development of the construction machinery industry in ASEAN countries is relatively lagging behind. ASEAN countries import a large number of construction machinery products from China every year. After decades of development, the overall quality and performance of Chinese made construction machinery products have greatly improved. Some products are comparable in quality to Germany, the United States, and Japan, but their prices are much cheaper. As old neighbors of ASEAN countries, ASEAN countries are more willing to do business with China.

In 2023, the total profit of industrial enterprises above designated size in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was 70.69 billion yuan, an increase of 9.0% over the previous year. Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangxi issued the "Policy Measures for Doing a Good Job in Industrial Economic Work in the Third Quarter of 2024", proposing 40 policy measures in 12 aspects, accelerating the promotion of new industrialization, building a modern industrial system, vigorously developing new quality productive forces, promoting enterprises to expand production, accelerating project investment, and further consolidating and enhancing the momentum of industrial economic recovery.

The exhibition will implement a 30 person group "free bus transportation, lunch, and accommodation" organizational visit mode.
