The Korea International Medical Equipment, Hospital Equipment, and Healthcare Exhibition KIMES is jointly organized by Korea E&Ex Inc, the Korea Medical Equipment Industry Association, and the Korea Medical Equipment Industry Joint Committee, and is certified by the International Exhibition (UFI). The Korea International Medical Equipment, Hospital Equipment and Healthcare Exhibition KIMES aims to promote foreign trade exchanges and cooperation between South Korea and the world, especially neighboring countries in Asia, in the medical industry. It provides a global stage for the Eastern medicine and medical equipment industry, promotes world understanding of the Eastern medicine and medical equipment industry through exhibition exchanges and trade negotiations, expands international development space, and provides more international trade opportunities.

In the dozens of exhibitions held by KIMES since 1980, the booth area has doubled year by year, and the exhibition hall has expanded to five exhibition halls. This exhibition plays an extremely important role in the equipment of international medical clinics, hospitals, and laboratories in Korea. The Korea International Medical Equipment and Hospital Equipment Exhibition has attracted nearly 1125 companies, including local exhibitors from Korea, as well as from 38 countries including Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, Taiwan, United States, and Switzerland. The exhibition area covers 38385 square meters and attracts over 70000 visitors.

This exhibition targets buyers, wholesalers, operators, and agents of medical equipment supplies and home care, researchers, doctors, pharmacists, as well as manufacturers, merchants, and importers/exporters. The conference also invited delegations of buyers from various countries and important medical equipment personnel to visit, which led to a continuous increase in orders and total transaction volume from participating manufacturers and achieved remarkable results. The transaction volume of the exhibition reached 90 million US dollars. Both the number of exhibiting companies, the number of visitors, and the exhibition hall area are increasing and expanding year by year.
