The 31st China International Fishing Products Trade Exhibition will grandly open from February 9-11, 2025 at the China International Exhibition Center (New Hall).

On February 16th, after a spring snow, a long line of people lined up in front of the 29th China International Fishing Products Trade Exhibition (CHINAFISH) at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Exhibition Hall, Beijing), with joy on their faces, as if they were coming to a feast.

Despite the global economic recession in recent years and various pressures such as shrinkage in the global fishing gear market this year. But this year, CHINAFISH's booth has already been fully booked and continues to receive calls requesting to book a booth. According to post exhibition statistics, the number of trading countries and regions participating in this exhibition has reached 80, the highest in recent years. At the 16th China Exhibition Industry Annual Conference held in Sanya, Hainan in January 2019, CHINAFISH was awarded the "China Brand Exhibition Gold Award for 40 Years of Reform and Opening Up", and Mr. Li Jiang was honored with the "Outstanding Figure Award in China's Exhibition Industry".

As soon as you enter the exhibition hall, some of CHINAFISH's newly added humanized services will impress everyone: convenient mobile phone charging stations, spare medical kits, QR code scanning for electronic booth pictures, portable paper booth pictures, and a refreshed best product selection area... all reflect CHINAFISH's continuous improvement, facing challenges and doing a good job, and improving comprehensive services for both trade and exhibition parties.

This year's CHINAFISH will still be held in two halls, E1 and E2, with an exhibition area of 26700 square meters. A total of 515 companies participated in the exhibition, including 475 domestic companies from 19 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions. There are 40 overseas companies from 15 countries and regions including the United States, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Hungary, Finland, Japan, Norway, South Korea, Singapore, Pakistan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Among them, there are 5 new companies and 86 new exhibitors, 4 media outlets, and 1 intellectual property company. There are 1320 standard booths and 117 special decoration enterprises.

Domestic traders from 214 companies from 14 provinces, 1 autonomous region, and 4 municipalities directly under the central government in China, with nearly 600 people visiting the exhibition. The international trading regions come from 80 countries around the world, one more than last year, with 649 companies, a decrease of about 100 compared to last year (mainly from the United States). Nearly 1300 foreign traders came to participate (detailed numbers are in the table below), although the number of traders who came to participate has decreased. However, in terms of the corresponding increase in the number of countries, the number of participants in this exhibition is clearly related to the companies streamlining their funds and compressing the number of participants. Especially during the three-day exhibition period, the exhibition was filled with a harmonious and optimistic atmosphere, positive and enthusiastic. Business negotiations, cooperation negotiations, and investment intentions are frequent, and many companies' booths are busy. It seems that friends in the global fishing industry have already adapted to the global economic recession and have made sufficient psychological preparations and coping measures to face it calmly.
