Introduction to the Expo

In the current situation of energy shortage, due to the instability and intermittency of new energy generation, large-scale development and utilization will make the supply-demand contradiction more prominent. The global problem of wind and solar curtailment is widespread, seriously restricting the development of new energy. Therefore, breakthroughs and innovations in energy storage technology have become the key to the smooth development of new energy and the advancement of changes in the energy sector. The energy storage industry, as a supporting industry and key driver of energy structure adjustment, has broad application prospects in different fields such as traditional power generation, transmission and distribution, power demand side, auxiliary services, and new energy access.

The 2025 Western International Energy Storage and Battery Technology Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Western Manufacturing Expo and Eurasian Industry Expo") is a large-scale industrial equipment expo focused on "industrial chain classification display and one-stop centralized procurement" created by the China Machinery Industry Federation and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, featuring product display, themed forums, procurement and supply matching, business negotiations, and exchange cooperation. The Western Manufacturing Expo began in 2003 and has made significant progress after 19 years of accumulation and development. It has become an important exhibition in the field of equipment industry in western China, attracting thousands of well-known domestic and foreign enterprises to participate in each exhibition. So far, the total exhibition area of the Western China International Import and Export Expo and the Eurasian Industrial Expo has exceeded 2.37 million square meters, with over 36979 participating companies and over 1.7962 million visitors.

The 2025 Western International Energy Storage Expo will be held in Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center from March 13 to 16, 2025. The conference has six indoor pavilions and two outdoor pavilions, with a total exhibition area of 100000 square meters. It will focus on electric electricians, solar photovoltaic, batteries, new energy, energy storage, metal cutting machines, sheet metal processing, laser cutting, tool measuring equipment, industrial automation and robots, intelligent equipment and precision parts, power transmission and fluid hydraulics, intelligent logistics, military civilian integration, aerospace and other contents, gather high-end equipment manufacturing R&D, production and processing, manufacturing service resources, display new achievements of innovative, green and open development, and promote the deep integration of the real industry with the Internet, big data, and artificial intelligence. At the same time, a series of key activities were held, including the China Western Manufacturing Intelligent Development Forum and Shaanxi Industrial Economic Development Conference, as well as the 6th China Intelligent Manufacturing Entrepreneurs Conference Western Summit.
