The 2024 China Urban Renewal and Sustainable Development Conference and Urban Renewal Exhibition will be held from July 30 to August 1, 2024 at the Qingdao Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center. It is the first industry exchange and trade activity focused on urban renewal in northern China.

The conference is guided by the Department of Housing and Urban Rural Development of Shandong Province, co hosted by the Shandong Urban Renewal Society and the Shandong Construction Science and Technology and Industrialization Center. With the theme of "Urban Renewal, Sharing Beauty", the conference builds a new track of differentiated development in the field of urban renewal through various means such as summit forums, achievement exhibitions, planning exhibitions, new products and technologies exhibitions, and docking negotiations. The focus will be on showcasing new technologies, materials, and solutions in the fields of "two old and one village renovation", "industrial upstairs", and "smart space". The conference starts from multiple dimensions such as scheme, technology, process, materials, and projects, introduces leading brands in the industry, and explores the latest development trends: including building function improvement, spatial restructuring and renovation, public building facade image renovation, green and low-carbon building renovation, and urban renewal digital technology relying on the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and big data; Materials and schemes such as elevator installation, urban comprehensive pipe gallery, solid waste treatment, parking facilities, emerging building materials such as organic glass, weather resistant steel, perforated aluminum plate, basalt fiber gland, and aerospace materials such as silica nano aerogel will also be presented at the conference, providing new ideas for the development of urban renewal materials.
