Changsha Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Expo (referred to as "Changsha Smart Expo"), founded in 2000, has become a highly influential machinery industry exhibition in Hunan and central China after 24 years of careful cultivation. The Changsha Smart Expo is committed to serving the industrial manufacturing industry in central China. It is an ideal trading platform for industry exchange, brand promotion, business expansion, and product sales of intelligent manufacturing equipment and industrial manufacturing equipment. Four industrial clusters in Hunan Province, including Changsha Construction Machinery Cluster, Changsha New Generation Autonomous Safety Computing System, Zhuzhou Advanced Rail Transit Equipment Cluster, and Zhuzhou Small and Medium sized Aviation Engines, have entered the national team of advanced manufacturing clusters, ranking third in the country and first in the central and western regions.

Hunan Province has a total of 399 national level specialized, refined, and innovative "little giant" enterprises, with 48 national individual champions, ranking fifth in the country and first in the central region. These enterprises are mostly distributed in advanced manufacturing clusters.
