The East China Import and Export Fair (referred to as "the Fair") is supported by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and jointly hosted by nine provinces and cities including Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Nanjing, and Ningbo. The Fair is one of the largest, most popular, and most extensive regional international economic and trade events in China, with the highest transaction volume.

Since 1991, the China Fair has successfully held 31 sessions. The 31st China International Fair was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, with an exhibition area of 105200 square meters and a total of 5234 booths. There are four major professional themed exhibitions, including clothing and apparel exhibition, textile fabric exhibition, household goods exhibition, and decorative gift exhibition, as well as two major professional exhibition areas, overseas exhibition area and cross-border e-commerce exhibition area.
