According to a survey, during the 11th Five Year Plan period, China's power supply enterprises saw an average annual growth of 29%, with a total sales revenue of about 250 billion yuan at the end of the period. During the 12th Five Year Plan period, China's power supply product production technology has made significant breakthroughs, and during the 13th Five Year Plan period, production will maintain a significant increase. During the 14th Five Year Plan period, China will accelerate the construction of distributed power sources. Release the construction of user side distributed power sources, promote the operation mode of "spontaneous self use, surplus grid connection, and grid regulation", and encourage enterprises, institutions, communities, and households to invest in the construction of various types of distributed power sources such as rooftop solar and wind power based on their own conditions. Encourage the promotion and construction of distributed energy projects in eligible industrial clusters, industrial parks, commercial centers, airports, transportation hubs, data storage centers, and hospitals. This measure will effectively promote the growth of demand in the power supply industry.

In order to better meet market demand and promote the development of the industry, with strong support from relevant departments, the China Machinery Industry Federation, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the People's Government of Xi'an, the China Communications Industry Association, the Shaanxi Power Supply Society, and Hengmai Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. jointly held the 2024 Xi'an International Power Supply Exhibition. Considering the booming consumer market of the power supply industry, The planned area of this exhibition is 20000 square meters, with a preset booth of 1000.
