Exhibition Introduction:

Since 1992, the China International Machine Tool Exhibition (CIMES) has been held biennially in Beijing. For over 30 years, enterprises have expanded their business channels, exchanged advanced technologies, and achieved profit growth through CIMES. CIMES has become an important platform for promoting the technological and trade development of the world's machine tool industry, and also the best window for the world to understand China, the largest consumer market for machine tools. The theme of this exhibition is "Digital Future Technology Innovation", focusing on the innovative achievements of the machine tool industry in terms of specialization, precision, specialty, new product display, and case scenarios. The focus is on reflecting the changes brought by the development of digitalization and intelligent technology to the industry, providing a high-quality platform for commercial cooperation, technological exchange, and industry docking for the machine tool industry.

Market Overview:

The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposes to "accelerate the implementation of the innovation driven development strategy, accelerate the realization of high-level technological self-reliance and self-improvement, guide by national strategic needs, gather forces to carry out original and leading scientific and technological breakthroughs, resolutely win the battle for key core technologies, accelerate the implementation of a number of national major scientific and technological projects with strategic global foresight, and enhance independent innovation capabilities."

In December 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and eight other departments jointly released the "14th Five Year Plan for the Development of Intelligent Manufacturing", which proposed the industrial plan of "building a batch of manufacturing innovation carriers around key areas such as industrial mother machines and developing intelligent industrial mother machines".

In November 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council jointly issued the "Notice on Consolidating the Revitalization and Boosting the Industrial Economy", emphasizing: "Accelerate the construction of major projects, guide enterprises to carry out a new round of technological transformation and equipment update investment, and improve the independent design and system integration capabilities of high-end CNC machine tools and other major technical equipment."

As the cornerstone of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry, industrial motherboards are a crucial tool for national security and independent control. The ecology of China's machine tool industry is becoming increasingly mature. Policy side: placing industrial machinery in a high strategic position, frequent related policies, and clear policy tendencies. From the perspective of the industrial chain: top-level policy design is expected to accelerate the process of strengthening and supplementing the industrial mother machine industry chain, and filling the gaps in the machine tool industry chain.
