In order to deeply study and implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Promoting the Inheritance, Innovation and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with the goal of "Healthy China" and improving the construction of the medical and health service system, promote and maintain the health of people of all ethnic groups, expand the field of traditional Chinese medicine services, promote the development of ethnic medicine and health undertakings, and showcase the achievements of ethnic medicine and health undertakings since the founding of New China. The National Medicine and Health Development Conference and Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Industry Expo jointly sponsored by China National Trade Promotion Association, China National Health Association, China National Medicine Association, China Tonic Diet Research Association, China Folk Chinese Medicine Research and Development Association, and China Quality Agricultural Product Development Service Association is scheduled to be held in Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 24 to 26, 2024. The conference focuses on inheriting the essence, upholding integrity and innovation, adhering to the development of national medicine economy, exploring national medicine treasures, inheriting national medicine classics, carrying forward national medicine culture, promoting the healthy development of national health undertakings, improving medical and health conditions in ethnic areas, cultivating national health talents, and improving the overall service level of national medicine and health undertakings.

The development of the national ethnic medicine and health industry is a systematic project under the national strategy. It requires joint promotion from all levels of the country and the participation of the whole society, deep cooperation, coordinated development, and increased development and promotion efforts in order to promote the development of the ethnic medicine industry, promote the inheritance of ethnic medicine culture, and consolidate the poverty alleviation achievements of the authentic medicinal material industry in ethnic areas.
