Background of the conference:

Against the backdrop of global climate change and the increasing depletion of fossil fuels, the development and utilization of renewable energy have received increasing attention from the international community, and the vigorous development of renewable energy has become a consensus among countries around the world. The Paris Agreement came into effect on November 4, 2016, highlighting the determination of countries around the world to develop renewable energy industries. The arrival of the fourth information revolution has made the digital economy the main driving force for energy transformation and low-carbon development. The overall architecture of smart energy is centered around intelligence, based on infrastructure platforms such as intelligent clouds and the Internet of Things, as well as AI platforms and data platforms. With the help of technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, and digital twins, it ultimately drives energy enterprises to achieve intelligent transformation.

The key to achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals is the transition to clean and low-carbon energy. With the implementation of carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, we will build a new type of power system with new energy as the main body, and promote the development of clean energy such as hydropower, wind power, solar power generation, energy storage, and hydrogen energy.
