Exhibition Introduction:

The 2024 Vietnam Sugar Expo is the only professional international sugar exhibition in Vietnam. This exhibition will showcase new technologies, processes, and equipment for sugarcane cultivation, planting, harvesting, and sugar production. It will further promote the comprehensive utilization of sugar by-products such as bagasse, molasses, and filter mud in industries such as papermaking, alcohol, fuel ethanol, and fertilizers; Introducing advanced environmental protection equipment from both domestic and international sources to further enhance the energy-saving and emission reduction capabilities of sugar mills, as well as the level of wastewater terminal treatment technology. Market Introduction:

Vietnam's sugar industry plays an important role in the country's economy, with sugarcane cultivation covering over half of the country's total area of 166900 hectares. In 2022, the refined sugar production reached 1.58 million tons. On June 15, 2021, the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade issued several anti-dumping and countervailing duties on sugarcane sugar products to boost domestic sugar prices, promote sales, and promote sugarcane cultivation.

According to the Vietnam Sugar Industry Association, currently Vietnam's sugar production is relatively backward compared to other countries. The planting technology level of sugarcane farmers is not high, and the cultivation is extensive; The outdated equipment in sugar processing plants has led to outdated production technology in the sugar industry, resulting in high sugar production costs and a lack of market competitiveness in Vietnam. To develop the sugar industry, Vietnamese sugar companies must accept challenges and change their management and marketing methods. From this, it can be seen that Vietnam's sugar industry process is very backward, and this is an excellent period for China's sugar industry technology and equipment to enter Vietnam.
