Guangdong International Robot and Intelligent Equipment Expo (hereinafter referred to as "smart Expo") is approved by Guangdong Provincial People's government, sponsored by Guangdong Provincial Department of industry and information technology and Dongguan Municipal People's government, organized by Dongguan Municipal Bureau of economy and information technology, Houjie Town People's government and Hong Kong iFLYTEK Exhibition company. It adopts the innovative exhibition mode of "government conference and enterprise Exhibition" and "marketization The idea of "internationalization and specialization" is positioned as a professional annual exhibition with the theme of high-end advanced robots, intelligent equipment and parts at home and abroad, which has been held for three times since 2015. Holding the smart Expo is an important measure to implement made in China 2025 and promote the development of robot and intelligent equipment industry through the introduction of demand and supply.
From the end of November to the beginning of December every year, the smart Expo is held in Guangdong International Modern Exhibition Center, Houjie Town, Dongguan City, with an exhibition area of over 110000 square meters, 6216 booths and nearly 1400 exhibitors. It has attracted well-known automation and intelligent equipment enterprises at home and abroad, such as FANUC of Japan, HARTING of the United States, demagiesen precision machine of Germany, iluwa of Switzerland, wittenbartenfeld of Austria, Huazhong CNC, Beijing precision sculpture, etc., to participate in the exhibition. More and more well-known enterprises have taken the smart Expo as the first platform of new products and technologies, and have made the latest products and technologies appear in the exhibition. According to the statistics of the third exhibition, 799 Guangdong enterprises participated in the exhibition, accounting for 57.9% of the total number of exhibitors; 3878 booths were rented, accounting for 62.4% of the total number of booths. At the same time, all previous exhibitions held various and rich theme activities closely related to the theme of "intelligent manufacturing", covering academic exchanges, new technology and new product display and release, policy release and publicity, technology and capital docking, etc., closely related to market demand, and focused on hot issues in the enterprise industry and academia. More than 110000 people have visited, negotiated and purchased in all previous smart exhibitions, ranking second only to Beijing China Machine Tool Exhibition in terms of scale and influence.
