Introduction

Vancouver Convention Center is located in the seaside of downtown Vancouver. It has 40000 square meters conference hall, exhibition hall and banquet hall. The exhibition hall covers an area of 15000 square meters. Vancouver Convention Center is one of the largest in Canada. With the opening of new western architecture in 2009, it now has a total conference space of 466500 feet (43340 m2). It is owned by the British Columbia Pavilion company, a crown company owned by the British Columbia government.

Western buildings are located close to Canada, including 220500 square feet (20490 square meters) of meeting space, 90000 square feet (8400 square meters) of retail space along the public promenade, and 440 parking spaces. The surrounding buildings include 400000 square feet (37000 square meters) sidewalks, bicycle lanes, public open spaces, squares, and a 14 Mu project area (57000 square meters) with 8 mu (32000 square meters) of land.

The western construction was opened to the public on April 4, 2009. It effectively tripled the capacity of the conference center. Vancouver Convention Center plays a broadcast role for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and the 2010 Winter Paralympic Games and is connected to the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel in the center
